Injap Tower Opens With A Bang

I was lying in bed trying to rest after a long day when I heard this big bang. This led me to look at my window and saw the fireworks display atop Injap Tower. I quickly grabbed my camera and set it up on our roof deck. Good enough, I got some decent shot and a wonderful view to enjoy. Injap Tower indeed opened with a big bang.

A New Home for Homeless Girls

Ilonggos with kind hearts have come to build a home for homeless girls in Iloilo City. The edifice will house girls from the SOS Village in Zaraga while they are studying their college degrees in the city. This is also a step in preparing them to be self-reliant individuals in the future. The lot was donated by Mr. Pedro Velasco and family at the back of Tagbak Terminal in Jaro. An amount of 6.7 million was raised to fund the building of the structure. Architect Hisancha rendered free architectural design services for the project. Archbishop Angel Lagdameo together with the SOS President Bien Delgado and the benefactors of SOS led the groundbreaking ceremony. A thanksgiving dinner followed after at the St. John Paul II Hall, Archbishop's Palace.

Independence Day Launching of SMART-Innopub Media Digital Tourism for Santa Barbara

The launching of the Digital Tourism by Smart Communications and Innopub Media coincided with the Independence day celebration at Santa Barbara, Iloilo.

The Digital Tourism project aims to enhance the tourists’ experience through Internet and mobile technologies. It involves the creation and installation of interactive markers containing Quick Response (QR) codes and Near Field Communication (NFC) stickers which, when scanned or tapped via a mobile phone, direct users to a website containing more information about the site or structure, including photos and videos.
